Applied Autonomy enters into strategic partnership with INIT to accelerate the future of autonomous mobility
Kongsberg, October 8, 2026 – On October 1, 2026, the international technology company INIT acquired a 67.74 percent stake in the Norwegian company Applied Autonomy. For us at Applied Autonomy, this means that INIT will use its majority stake to strategically strengthen its technological capabilities, giving us a strong foundation for further growth.
Applied Autonomy was established in 2017 and is based in Kongsberg, a leading Norwegian center for technology and innovation. We specialize in the development of software solutions for the operation, monitoring, and control of autonomous vehicles in public transport, at airports, and in the logistics sector.
